Alice Mae McCaskey was born September 22, 1939 to Lloyd and Allegra (Bruflat) McCaskey at Beresford, South Dakota. She went to her heavenly home on December 26, 2014. Alice had 7 children. She later met and married Don Schroeder on January 7, 1983. They lived on a farm near Inwood for 17 years. While there, Alice was involved in ladies aid at Christ Lutheran Church at Alvord. Don and Alice moved to Sioux Falls in 2000. Alice attended Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls when possible. Her faith was very important to her. She enjoyed her coffee time with her close friends. She was always able to come up with a witty remark and a quick smile or jolly laugh.
