Jerald Wieczorek, 50, of Larchwood died Monday, May 3, 2004, at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Services were Friday at Seeds of Faith United Methodist Church, Lester, with interment in Hillside Cemetery.

Mr. Wieczorek was born Oct. 23, 1953, at Mitchell, S.D., the son of Don and Darlene (Herbst) Wieczorek. They lived near Marion, S.D., until he was 5 and the family moved to the Mt. Vernon, S.D., area. He graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1971. He attended college in Miltonville, Kan., Marion, Ind., and at South Dakota State University, Brookings, S.D.

On May 16, 1975, he married Renae Kreth at Dimock, S.D., They lived in Sioux Falls one year before moving to Baltic, S.D.

On Jan. 1, 2002, he married Julie Tolvstad. They resided in Larchwood. He worked in the heating and air conditioning business in the Sioux Falls area. He directed 15 cantatas in Baltic and one in Lester.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Matthew of Baltic; one daughter, Kristen Wieczorek of Spearfish, S.D.; his father of Mitchell; one stepdaughter, Kallie Miller of Rock Rapids, and one sister, Mrs. Rev. Ralph (Diane) Lohman of Portland, Ore.

He was preceded in death by his mother.
