PETER TOLSMA III

Tolsma, Peter III entered eternal life on November 21, 2013, at the age of 68. A longtime resident of Bayside, loving brother of Evadna (Dean) McNeil, Jack (Rita) Tolsma and Dudley (Ruth) Tolsma and proud uncle of Diane, Dan, Ken, Dawndra, Danielle, David, Dean, Dirk and Monte.

He is further survived by great nieces and nephews, other relatives and good friends.

Peter was a longtime active member of Bay Shore Lutheran Church and loved being a part of the church choir. The church was always an important part of Peter’s life. He very much enjoyed photography, was an avid reader and always looked forward to spending time at home with his cat “Scooter”.

Peter was also an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast. He would sit down, clipboard in hand, with a timer and fountain pen at his side ready for the next crossword challenge.

He will be deeply missed by his family, fellow church members, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family will greet friends on Wednesday, December 11, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Bay Shore Lutheran Church, 1200 East Hampton Road, Whitefish Bay, followed by a service honoring Peter’s life at 7:00 PM, Pastor Noreen Smith officiating. Interment will be private for the family. Memorials in Peter’s name may be made to Bay Shore Lutheran Church.
