Daniel Spain – September 12, 1902 – February 20, 1965

Daniel G Spain services held at Alvord Tuesday.
Services for Daniel G Spain, 62, were held at the Sacred Heart Catholic church, Alvord, Tuesday, Feb 23, 10:00 a.m. Rev Dale F Koster officiated.
Mr. Spain died unexpectedly Feb 20 at Cedar Rapids..

He is survived by one sister, Mrs Lester Doherty, Sioux Falls; three brothers, John, Waterloo; Bill, Long Beach, Calif; and Matthew, Bellevue..

Pallbearers were Martin Cullinan, Walter McNamara, Clarence Keegan, Robert Sullivan Jr, Vernon Kelly, and George Frederickson.
Mr. Spain spent his youth in this area and is an uncle of Mrs. Hein Kosters.
Porter Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
