Martha Velma (Schrick) Kersten – November 19, 1919 – February 8, 2011

Martha "Mae" Kersten, 91, of George, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at the George Good Samaritan Center.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Bolin Funeral Home, George.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Central Baptist Church, George, with the Rev. Harry Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Lawn Cemetery.

Martha Velma Schrick was born November 19, 1919 in Grant Twp., Lyon County, Iowa, the daughter of Behrend George Schrick and Martha (Kruse) Schrick.

She married Elmer Kersten, the son of John Nicholas Kersten and Helena (Meyners) Kersten.
