Janet (Klinkenborg) Triebwasser – September 19, 1909 – April 29, 2008

Janet Klinkenborg Triebwasser, 1200 E. College Ave., Normal, passed away at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday (April 29, 2008) after a brief stay at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Normal. Before moving to Illinois five years ago, she was a longtime resident of Centralia, Mo.

There will be a graveside service at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Centralia, Mo. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, El Paso, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born in George, Iowa, on Sept. 19, 1909, daughter of Henry and Sena Dresman Klinkenborg. She married John Triebwasser on Nov. 7, 1934, in George, Iowa. She taught school for several years in Lyon County, Iowa, before marrying. She then joined her husband in farming.

She is survived by her husband, John Triebwasser, Normal; two sons, John (Susan) Triebwasser, Cedaredge, Colo., and Lyle (Jane) Triebwasser, Normal; three grandchildren, Heidi (Darrel) McCall, Katy, Texas; Eric (Amy) Triebwasser, Canton, Mich.; and Jill Donnel, Normal; and three great-grandchildren, Emily Donnel, Normal; and Julia and Derek Triebwasser, both of Canton, Mich.

She was preceded in death by four brothers.
