Dorothy (Veldkamp) Rossow – June 15, 1936 – July 1, 2008

Dorothy Rossow, 72, of Pea Ridge, Ark., died Tuesday, July 1, 2008. She was born June 15, 1936, in Doon, Iowa, to Aalt Veldkamp and Dena Veldkamp.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette Beyer; and a brother, Jim Veldkamp. Survivors include her husband, Harley Rossow; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Debra Shiveley of Apple Valley, Minn., Pamela Meyer and Bob Meyer of Sioux Falls, S. D., Kimberly Norberg of Eden Prairie, Minn., and Brenda Johnson and Travis Johnson of Minnetonka, Minn.; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Alice Kracht and Dick Kracht, Florence Birkhofer and Arvilla Veldkamp, all of Luverne, Minn.; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Elmer Veldkamp and Greta Veldkamp of Jasper, Minn., and Benjamin Veldkamp of Luverne.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 3, at George Boom Funeral Home of Sioux Falls, S. D., with the family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 5, at George Boom Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Hills of Rest Memorial Park in Sioux Falls. Online condolences may be made at www. georgeboom. com.
