Mrs. John Nebben Dies in Rock Rapids [IA]
Mrs. John Nebben, a former Hawarden resident, died Sunday [8 Oct 1967] at a Rock Rapids hosptial following a long illness.
Funeral services were held Thursday, October 5. at 2:00 p.m. at the Doon Congregational church with Rev. Raymond Roloff officiating. Burial took place in Hillside cemetery under the direction of the Porter Funeral Home.
Mrs. Nebben was born April 7, 1899, at Doon and was married September 19, 1921, at Flandreau, South Dakota. Mr. Nebben died in December of 1965.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne of Norwalk, Iowa, and Loren of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two daughters, Mrs. Lester Place of Milford, Iowa, and Mrs. Pier Wynia of Rock Valley; three brothers, Walter A. and Clifton E. Moore, both of Rock Valley and George A. Moore of Berkeley, Illinois; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
