Mrs. Christian Geick

Mary Geick, wife of Christian Geick, of this city, died at the family home on Tuesday evening of this week. She, had not been ill previous to the time of her passing. Heart failure is given as the cause of her death.

Funeral services will be held from the home here Saturday at noon; from the North German Lutheran Church, of which she was a member, at 12:30 with Rev. A. H. Landgrebe, officiating. The remains will be taken to George, where they will be laid to rest.

Mary Voss was born at Palatine, Illinois, October 24, 1853. She lived there during her young womanhood.

On November 28, 1867 she married J. J. Fiihr and with him came to Lyon County. To this union were born 11 children, all of whom except one survive.

On May 15, 1901 occurred the death of J. J. Fiihr. Two years later, in June 1903, Mrs. Fiihr married John Link, of George, who passed away, March 17, 1919. On October 20, Mrs. Link married Christian Geick, of this city, who remains to mourn her loss.
