HARRIET KRUSE

Harriet Kruse, 81, of Sibley died Sunday, August 1, 1999, at Marian Health Center, Sioux City.
Services were Wednesday at Trinity Reformed Church, Sibley, with interment in Pleasant View Cemetery, Little Rock.

Harriet Huls was born May 5, 1918, in Lyon County, the daughter of Leendert and Hiska (Eihausen) Huls. She moved with her family to a farm near Marshall, Logan County, Oklahoma, then returned to Little Rock where she graduated from high school in 1935.

On February 23, 1949, she married John Kruse at Brewster, Minnesota. They farmed near Little Rock. He died October 4, 1963.

She moved to Sibley where she was employed at several jobs, including Max Grocery Store and janatorial services. In 1966, she began employment with Sibley Community School District, which lasted 30 years.

Survivors include one son, Harris; two daughters, Mrs. David (Jolene) Fisher and Jodene Kruse; five grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. C.B. (Leona) Morey of Chula Vista, California; and Mildred Christians of Sibley.
