Louis Boom

November 9, 1923 -- August 3, 2010

Rock Rapids, Iowa - Louis Boom, age 86 of Rock Rapids, died Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at the Sanford Hospital in Rock Rapids.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Friday, August 6th at the Bethel Reformed Church in Lester, Iowa, with burial following at Hillside Cemetery in Lester. Visitation will be Friday morning from 9:00 until the hour of service at the Bethel Reformed Church in Lester.

Louis is survived by his wife of 64 1/2 years, Anna Marie; sons, Clifford (Carrie) Boom of Beaver Creek, Minnesota; daughter, Judy (Wayne) Cope of Carlisle, Iowa; son, Chris (Carol) Boom of Larchwood, Iowa; and a sister, LuBertha Boom of Lester, Iowa.

Jurrens Funeral Home of Rock Rapids is in charge of service.
