Services held today for Mrs. Julia Larson

Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Julia Larson of Larchwood today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran church in Inwood.

The Rev. R. L. Vanderpan of Canton will officiate. Four young girls, Mary and Carol Knudson and Grace and Donna Haugland, will sing, accompanied by Marie Madalen on the organ. Pallbearers are Selmar Haugland, Stanley Haugland, Kenneth Knudson, Nathaniel Anderson, Merle Johnson and Helmer Fagerhaug. Interment will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Porter Funeral home of Rock Valley.

Mrs. Larson was born April 19, 1902 at Inwood. On June 28, 1946 she and Hans J. Larson were married in Minneapolis, Minn. She died Monday morning at Sioux Valley hospital in Sioux Falls after a long illness for which she was hospitalized about five weeks.

She was preceded in death by her husband July 1, 1960. Surviving Mrs. Larson are two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Fagerhaug of Irene, S. D. and Mrs. Emma Knudson of Canton; a brother, Thomas Haugland of Inwood. The couple had no children.
