Brian Keith Boneschans -- May 20, 1973 - May 18, 2008

Brian Boneschans, age 34 of Sibley, IA died Sunday, May 18, 2008 at his residence in Sibley, IA.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at the First Baptist Church rural George, IA, with Reverend Stephen May officiating. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 20th from 2-8 PM, with the family present from 6-8 PM at the Jurrens Funeral Home of Sibley.

Brian Keith Boneschans was born on May 20, 1973, the son of Henry and Joan (Schulte) Boneschans in Rock Rapids, IA. He was raised in Ashton and attended the Sheldon Community School in Sheldon, IA. He graduated from the Sheldon High School in 1992. He then went to college at NCC in Sheldon and took a course in welding for one year. He had recently been employed by Tri State Paving. In his spare time he liked tinkering with things, such as small engines. Brian loved all sports and had a lot of knowledge about many different sports. Some of his favorite sports teams were the Vikings, Twins, and the Hawkeye’s. He also enjoyed watching WWF wrestling on TV but most of all he loved NASCAR Racing. Brian loved his family very much, especially his nieces and nephews.

Brian is survived by his parents, Henry and Joan Boneschans of Sibley; and two sisters: Candyce Michlitsch of Webster, SD and Patti (husband Rusty) Haack of Ida Grove, Iowa; nieces and nephews: Sarah, Jennifer and Heather Michlitsch and Thomas Hansen, Dustin and Bret Maae; aunts and uncles: Kathleen Boneschans of Ashton, IA, Leonard (wife Susan) Boneschans of Sheldon, IA, John (wife Barb) Schulte of Sibley, Mike (wife Diane) Schulte of Sibley, Lena (husband Jim) Ruddy of Crystal, MN and Dale (wife Jan) Schulte of Kingston, GA; and numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Herman and Jennie Schulte; paternal grandparents, Henry and Emma Boneschans; brother-in-law, Jerry Michlitsch; and cousin, Bradley Ruddy.
