John Van Holland
John Van Holland, 76, died Saturday, April 2, at his home in Lester.

He was born April 24, 1906, in Ede, Holland. He married Jennie Lokhorst June 28, 1939, in Sioux Falls. They farmed in the Lester area, retiring in 1972.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Albert and Gerrit, Rock Rapids, Edwin, Lester; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Nelva) Ageson, Lester; seven grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Coba Brown, Sioux Falls.

Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, at the Bethel Reformed Church in Lester with burial at Hillside Cemetery. Family visitation was from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 4, at the Van Ginkel Funeral Home in Rock Rapids.
