Aged Inwood Woman Dies Last Wednesday; Lived There 50 Years

Inwood Herald: Mrs. Margaret Hanson, 91 years old, died at her home in this city, at 10:15 Wednesday evening after a long illness extending over a period of several weeks. She was a resident of this community for almost a half century and was the mother of ten children, six of whom are living. Her husband preceded her in death twenty-two years ago. Although Mr. Hanson has been in poor health for quite a while she did not become seriously ill until the fore part of last March and since then has lost ground rapidly. For three weeks previous to her death she sat propped up in a chair, unable to lie in bed. On Tuesday she again took to her bed and remained there until the end came Wednesday evening. A brief funeral service will be conducted at the home Saturday at 2:00 p. m., and at 2:30 p. m., Rev. L. O. Thorson will preach the funeral sermon at Bethlehem Lutheran church after which interment will be made beside her husband in Richland cemetery.
