Mrs. Helmer D. Moen, 76, Inwood, died last Monday at a Sioux Falls hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services were OB Thursday, December 9 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Inwood, with Rev. Anton Kirkegaard officiating. Burial was in the Richland Cemetery under direction of the Porter Puneral Home at Inwood.

The former Johanne Severtson, she was born June 11, 1895, in Lyon County. She was married March 23, 1917. Mr. Moen died in 1963.

Survivors are two sons, Herman and Henry, both of Inwood; five daughters, Mrs. Harlan (Evangeline) Hanson of Richmond, Va., Mrs. Donald (Charlotte) Anderson of Forest City, Mrs. Mario (Norma Jane) Hanson and Mrs. Donald (June) Katt, both of Alton and Mrs. Milton (Mary Joan) Anderson of Akron, 22 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
