Grace Dirksen (Lupes-Reck) Wildeman, 82, of Rock Rapids, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 1992, at the Rock Rapids Health Center.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Reformed Church in Rock Rapids, with Rev. Mark Deckinga officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, at Rock Rapids, under direction of the Roste Funeral Home, Rock Rapids.

Mrs. Wildeman was born June 15, 1910, at Pilsum, Germany, daughter of John and Minnie (Freerks) Lupkes. She came to the United States as a 14-year old, and settled in Grundy Center, Iowa. She moved to Ellsworth, Minn., and attended country school for a year. She married John Reck July 2, 1927, at the Bethel Reformed Church in Ellsworth. They lived south of Ellsworth and east of Rock Rapids until moving into Rock Rapids in. Sept. of 1968. Mr. Reck died Dec. 23, 1968.

She married Leonard Wildeman Jan. 7,1975, Rock Rapids. He died Nov. 11, 1990. She moved to the Rock Rapids Health Center 26 days ago. She was a member of First Reformed Church and active in the Dorcas Circle.

Survivors include five children, William "Bill" Reck of Lyons, S.D., Edward and Ralph Reck, both of Sibley, Iowa, and Mrs. Art (Lucille) Bosch and Larry Reck, both of Rock Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Sophie) Fastert of Rock Rapids and-Mrs. John (Eleanor) Bouwman of Akron, Iowa; two brothers, Hans Lupkes of Pasadena, Texas, and William Lupkes of Rock Rapids; 35 grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren, four stepchildren an 37 step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, a grandson and three brothers.
