Meta Luneburg

Mrs Meta Luneburg, daughter of Mr and Mrs Karstens, was born on March 9, 1856 in Schleswig, Germanry. She came to America in 1883 and spent the first years here at Dysart, Ia. For six years she lived in Plymouth county, Iowa.

On March 12, 1890, she was united in marriage to Wm. Luneburg at Rock Rapids.They lived on a farm west of Rock Rapids, until 1903, when they moved to Kenneth, Minn., where they have lived since. Although suffering from rheumatism for years, he final sickness, kidney trouble, lasted but a few days.

She died Monday morning, November, 28, at the age of 82 years, eight months, and 19 days.
She is survived by her husband, two sons, Charles and Henry of Kenneth, and two grandsons, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the home in Kenneth, and at the Immanuel Lutheran church, and were in charge of Rev. E. H. Mueller. The male quartet, composed of Lloyd Clasen, Loren Griesse, Arnold Olson, and Carl Borman, accompanied by Mrs. E. H. Mueller. Internment was made in Riverview cemetery.
