John Lemon
Funeral services for John Lemon, 51, of Rock Rapids will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Christian Reformed Church in Rock Rapids with interment in Riverview Cemetery in Rock Rapids.
He died Monday, July 17, 1989 at the McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD, following a long illness.

John Sherman Lemon was born November 18, 1937 at Kansas City, MO. He grew up in the St. Joseph, MO, area and attended schools there. During his life, John worked at various occupations including
being a security officer for Pinkerton Securities Systems, installing bank security systems and for the past 20 years worked as a Across-country trucker.

On December 18, 1986 he married Brenda Van ilburg at Sioux Falls. For the past year they have lived in Rock Rapids.

Surviving are his wife; his mother, Blanche Jackson of Red Oak; two sons, Johnny of Topeka, KS, and Steven of Florida; five daughters, Jana McClintock of Marrietta, KS, Kristine of Topeka,
KS, Cindy and Terry, both of Canby, MN, and Ashley of Rock Rapids; one step-daughter, Crystal of George; two sisters and a brother.
