Mrs. Henry Sauter

Mrs. Henry Sauter died at George Wednesday, January 14, 1924, after an illness following a third stroke of paralysis. The funeral was held at the Lutheran church at George Friday afternoon.

The deceased woman was born at Cleveland, Ohio, in 1858. Her first husband, Walter B. Ecker, passed away about forty-two years ago. She married Mr. Sauter at Flanagan, Illinois, and they moved to Lyon county in 1892. They farmed up to four years ago, when they moved to George.

She is survived by her husband and the following sons and daughters: Will Ecker, George; Frank Ecker, Lemmon, S. D.; Phil Sauter, Lismore, Minn.; Henry Sauter and Theodore Sauter, George; Mrs. Alice Forrest, Greene, N. Y., and Miss Anna Sauter, George. Jack Sauter, after whom the George American Legion post is named, lost his life in the world War.
