John Sorg

John Sorg, for many years a resident of Lester but who has been living at Esteline, S. D., the past few years, died Sunday, February 25,1923, at the home of his daughter.

Mrs. U. B. Miller, and the body was sent to Lester for interment. Burial took place Wednesday. Services were held at the Methodist church. Accompanying the body were Mr. and Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Lizzie Klein, Mr. and Mrs, John Sorg, Mr and Mrs. Hy Sorg and Mr. and Mrs. William Kirschbaum, all of Estelline. Mrs. Henry Bick and the late Mrs. Lou Messner, of Lester, were sisters of the deceased man. He was known for years in this section as a breeder of Poland China hogs. At one time he owned a section of land south of Lester.
