On the 12th of October, 1901, Ede Heidebrink separated from this life at the age of almost 63 years. The departed was born on the 17th of October, 1838 at Simonswolde, Ostfriesland, and came about 16 years ago to America.

Even though he was not always entirely strong, he passed away quite unexpectedly. His mortal remains were laid on the Hope Reformed Cemetery among a large turnout on the 14th of October. Pastor George Schnücker held the funeral message over I Samuel 20:3. the departed never married and doesn’t leave behind any close family. Of the six siblings, a sister and two brother stood grieving at the grave.
