We, with grieved hearts, report to all relatives and acquaintances, that our much loved father, grand and great-grandfather, Thomas Heidebrink, in the belief of his blessed Redeemer at the age of 80 years and 4 days has fallen asleep on the 12th of March, 1915.

He was born on the 8th of May, 1835, at Simonswolde, Ostfriesland, Germany. In 1860 he stepped into holy matrimony with Hilke, born Siebring, which marriage was blessed with 2 sons and 6 daughters and from that, one daughter died in her youth.

In 1867 he traveled with his family to Adams County, Illinois, 14 years later to Grundy County, Iowa and in 1892 to the area near George, Iowa.

In 1898, his wife was snatched in death and since that time he has been with his children that fostered him with all devotion.

The funeral took place on the 16th of March, 1915 from the Reformed congregation at Little Rock, Iowa where the undersigned spoke over Hebrews 4:9. He was buried beside his wife at the Hope Reformed church Cemetery by George. Pastor L. Ziegler held one more short message over Revelation 1:5. His death is mourned by 2 sons, 5 daughters, 27 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, one sister and other relatives.
