Ralph Reck, 66, of Sibley died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, at his home.

Services were Saturday at Walton, Roste & Vogel Funeral Home, Sibley, with interment in Holman Township Cemetery.

Mr. Reck was born Sept. 8, 1935, near Rock Rapids, the son of John and Grace (Lupkes) Reck. He graduated from Rock Rapids High School in 1953.

On Dec. 22, 1956, he married Darlyn Dilly near Ellsworth, Minn.

He served in the army from January 1957-October 1958 and in the army reserve five years. He worked at Adrian Elevator while living in Adrian and Ellsworth, Minn., and later on a farm near Little Rock. He worked at Chase Bag Co., in Sibley from 1972 until his retirement in June 2000.

On Oct. 23, 1982, he married Paula Cooper in Rock Rapids. In March 1984 they moved to Sibley.

Survivors include his wife; three children, David Reck of Windom, Minn., Allen Reck of Sibley and Mrs. Mark (Michelle) Ling of Jackson, Minn.; five grandchildren and one brother, Larry of Rock Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Tillie Hindt, and three brothers, Jacob, Edward M. and William E.
