Pauline Siemer, 90, of Rock Rapids died Wednesday, July 4, 2001, at Merrill Pioneer Community Hospital.
Services were Saturday at Zion Presbyterian Church, Ellsworth, Minn., with interment in Pleasant View Cemetery, Little Rock.

Pauline Herding was born June 21, 1911, near Rock Rapids, the daughter of Casper and Anna (Hasse) Herding. She grew up near Rock Rapids and attended country school.
On Oct. 12, 1940, she married Elmer Siemer at Sibley. The couple farmed until retiring and moving to Rock Rapids in 1979.

Her husband died March 28, 1997. She remained in her own home until being hospitalized six weeks ago.

Survivors include one brother, Herbert of Little Rock, and two sisters, Greta Veen of Little Rock and Marie Dammer of Rock Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
