Deborah Vogelaar, 48, of Sebastopol, Calif., died Saturday, June 23, 2001, at her home.
Services were June 30 at First Presbyterian Church, Sanborn, with interment in Roseland Cemetery.

Deborah Vogelaar was born Aug. 10, 1952, in Rock Rapids, the daughter of Victor and Lorraine (Cammock) Vogelaar. She lived in George until the family moved to Sanborn in 1962. She graduated from Sanborn High School in 1970 and attended University of South Dakota in Vermillion. She worked at Prins Insurance in Sanborn before moving to Thermopolis, Wyo., to be a veterinarian's assistant. She worked in Iowa City and Oakland Calif., then returned to Iowa City. She lived the last six years in Sebastopol.

Survivors include her mother of Sanborn; one brother, Greg of Sanborn and two sisters, Mrs. Terry (Vicki) Protextor of Iowa City and Mrs. Jim (Heidi) Postma of Sanborn.
