John "Jack" Frambach, 67, of Sawyer, Mich., died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph, Mich.

Services were Tuesday at Boyd Funeral Home, Bridgman, Mich., with interment in Riverview Cemetery, Rock Rapids. Chapel services will be Thursday, April 19, at 2 p.m. at Roste Funeral Home.

Mr. Frambach was born June 25, 1933, in Waterloo, the son of James and Eugenia (Godden) Frambach. He served in the army from June 1953 to May 1955.

On July 7, 1957, he married Jean Vogel in Rock Rapids.He retired in 1990 as a rural letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service in Sawyer, Mich.

Survivors include his wife; one son, John of Sawyer; one daughter, Mrs. Dave (Jane) Young of New Castle, Colo.; two granddaughters and one brother, James of Emmetsburg.
