Gavin Rylee Huisman, 3 week old infant son of Brian Huisman and Marla Luitjens of Hospers, Iowa died November 12, 2008, at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Hope Reformed Church of George, Iowa with burial in the Hope Reformed Church Cemetery at rural George.

Gavin Rylee Huisman was born October 17, 2008, at Sioux Falls, South Dakota the son of Brian Huisman and Marla Luitjens. Gavin died this past Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at three weeks of age.

He is survived by his parents, Brian Huisman and Marla Luitjens of Hospers, Iowa; two siblings, Brandon Huisman of Orange City, Iowa; and Angel Huisman of Hospers, Iowa; paternal grandparents, Ken and LaDonna Huisman of Orange City, Iowa; maternal grandmother, Beverly Luitjens of Rock Rapids, Iowa; paternal great grandmother, Johanna Van Klompenburg of Orange City, Iowa; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Gavin was preceded in death by his brother, Kayden; his maternal grandfather, Marlyn Luitjens; maternal great grandparents, Raymond and Reka Luitjens; and Ed and Gert Broesder; paternal great grandparents, Herbert and Jessie Huisman; and William Van Klompenburg.
