Orville Baumann, 91, of Little Rock died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, at Osceola Community Hospital, Sibley.

Services were Saturday at Walton-Roste Funeral Home, Sibley, with interment in Pleasant View Cemetery.

Mr. Baumann was born March 13, 1911, in Little Rock, the son of Lambert and Verna (Eberline) Baumann. He started his own concrete block and tile business which he operated several years. During World War II he served in the armed services.

On June 14, 1949, he married Tressa Harms in Little Rock. They lived in Little Rock. He started Farm & Home Hardware Store in Little Rock in 1959.

His wife died in March 1998.

Survivors include one brother, L.A. "Art" of Houston, Texas.

He was preceded in eath by his parents, wife and one sister, Luella Freerks.
