Funeral services for Albert J. Boeve, 57, of Baltic, South Dakota, were held November 10, 1992 in Minnehaha Funeral Home, Baltic, with interment in St. Olaf Cemetery.

He died Wednesday, November 4, 1992, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Mr. Boeve was born February 23, 1935, in Rock Rapids, Lyon county, Iowa. He grew up in the Larchwood and Doon (both in Lyon county, Iowa) areas and attended school in Doon.

On October 4, 1957, he married Barbara Weeks in Rock Rapids.

He was in the construction business and worked with Western Contracting and then Jerke Crane Service. He owned and operated Al’s Welding and Repair in Baltic and he moved to Baltic in 1968.

On April 12, 1963, he married Allene Becker in Dell Rapids, South Dakota.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Lloyd Randall of Lawrence, Kansas and Steven of Esparto, California; one daughter, Debbie Eastman of Apache Junction, Arizona; 11 grandchildren; his mother, Hattie Boeve of Luverne, Minnesota; three brothers, Dick of Luverne, John of Visalia, California, and Avor “Sam” of Corvallis, Oregon, and one sister, Pearl Schomacker of Luverne, Minnesota.
