Funeral services for Elizabeth I. Fisher, 87, of Sioux Falls, Minnehaha county, South Dakota, were held August 4, 1992 in George Boom Funeral Home, Sioux Falls, with interment on August 5 in Britton Cemetery, Britton, South Dakota

She died Saturday, August 1, 1992 in Prince of Peach Retirement Center.

Elizabeth Horst was born April 25, 1905 in Sioux Valley Township, Jackson County, Minnesota. She grew up on a farm east of Worthington, Nobles county, Minnesota and attended country school, graduating from the eighth grade.

On December 26, 1924, she married Ernest Fisher in Sibley, Osceola county, Iowa. The made their home in George, Lyon county, Iowa, later moving to Sibley, Plainview and Worthington, Minnesota, and then farmed near Amherst, South Dakota.

Her husband died December 10, 1959.

She moved to Owatonna, Minnesota, in 1965 and then to Sioux Falls in 1973.

Survivors include two sons, Franklin of San Jose, California and Ivan of Brandon, South Dakota; three grandchildren; one great-grandson and one sister, Leone Ronan of Rochester, Minnesota.
