SWANSON, MABLE 1892 - 1989
Died Thursday, July 27, 1989, Age 97 years, 3 months, 22 days at Good Samaritan Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Mable Elenor Swanson, daughter of Charlie and Anna Swanson, was born April 5, 1892 in Lyon County, Iowa where she grew up and lived most of her life. She graduated from Sioux Falls High School in 1911. She taught school in Lyon County for several years. She was a charter member of Grandview Covenant Church.

Grateful for having shared her life are her nephews, Calvin Johnson, Larchwood, Iowa. Richard Swanson, Sioux Falls, A. Charles Swanson, Chicago; nieces, Joyce Whitcher and Carol Shafer, both of Hill City, South Dakota, Elizabeth Kuhn, Palm Desert, California and Dr. Priscilla Swanson, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family at the George Boom Funeral Home Social Facilities following the funeral service prior to leaving or the cemetery.

Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in George Boom Funeral Chapel with the burial in Grandview Covenant Church Cemetery, Larchwood.
