Ida Swanson was born on April 20, 1884 near Larchwood, IA. and received her education there. She worked and lived in the Larchwood and Canton area until coming to Aurora in the early 1950's where she made her home with her sister. In 1962 she entered the rest home at Volga and in 1964 she came to Riverview Manor where she has since made her home.
