SWANSON, EDWARD 1885-1933
Farmer Near Granite Stricken At His Home

Edward Swanson, 47 years old, farmer, near Granite, Ia., died Tuesday night at his home, two miles southeast of Granite. Mr. Swanson was born in Lyon county, Ia., and had been a lifelong member of the Swedish Mission church, near Granite.

Mr. and Mrs. Swanson were married in 1915. He is survived by his widow; a daughter Ellen; a brother, Anton, and his father, Isaac Swanson, all of near Granite. Two brothers preceded him in death, his mother died in 1927.

Services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the residence and at 2:30 o'clock that afternoon at the Swedish Mission church. Burial will be in the Swedish Mission churchyard. The Rev. Charles Carlson, former pastor of that church, will officiate. The Miller Funeral home is in charge of the arrangements
