Funeral Services for Old Resident and Church Worker To Be Thursday Larchwood, Ia., Nov 15. - Funeral services for Mrs. C.T. Swanson, 69, resident of this section since 1888, who died Sunday (Nov. 13 1932) night in a Sioux Falls hospital, will be held at the home at 1 p.m. Thursday and at the Swedish mission church south of Granite at 2 p.m. The Rev. R. A. Larson, formerly pastor here but now at Albert City, will officiate. Anna Sophia Swanson, was born in Linköping, Östergöötland, Sweden. She was married September 3, 1888. She was very active in work of the Swedish Mission Church which she helped organize and advance and for eight years was president of the Ladies Aid.

Mr. and Mrs. Swanson had recently retired from active work on the farm and had built themselves a comfortable new dwelling on their land. Survivors, besides Mr. Swanson are two daughters, Mable, at home, and Mrs. Joe Johnson, Larchwood, two sons, Emil T., at home, and Elmer, of Larchwood, and five grandchildren.
