Nyla Jean Lawson, daughter of Alta Stoebner of Rock Rapids, Lyon County, Iowa, died on April 5, 1998 in Ottawa, Illinois. Memorial services were held on April 10, 1998 in Ottawa.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by he husband, Gerald; one son, Raymond, who is serving in the U.S. Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton, Calif.; four brothers; and three sisters.

Nyla Lawson, 52 of Ottawa, Illinois, daughter of Mrs. Ben (Alta) Stoebner of Rock Rapids, died on April 5, 1998. Memorial services were conducted on April 10 in Ottawa.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Gerald; one son, Raymond, Camp Pendleton, Calif., four brothers: James of Minneapolis, Minn., Charles of Puyallup, Wash., Bruce of Denver, Colo., and Eric of St. Paul, Minn.; and three sisters: Audrae Cowry of Osaka, Japan, Mrs. Don (Marie) Baker of St. Charles, Mo., and Mrs. Kevin (Lynne) Megan of St. Paul.
