Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 1981, for Bertha Geick, age 93, of Columbus, Nebraska, and Gass-Haney Funeral Home there. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Paul's cemetery at Hull. Bertha was born on September 18, 1888.

Geick died on Saturday, Dec. 12, 1981 at the Columbus Manor in Columbus, Nebraska. She was formerly of Rock Rapids, Lyon County, Iowa.

Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Loyce Trodden, Tacoma, Washington, Mrs. Orla Poindexter, Concord, Calif., and Mrs. Betty Rae, of Columbus, Nebraska; and eight other descendants.
