Funeral services for Mrs. Clarence Keegan, 77, formerly of Inwood, Lyon county, Iowa are pending with Porter Funeral Home of Rock Valley. She died on Friday, May 22, 1981 in a Sioux City, Iowa, hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Clarence (Elvira) Keegan, age 77, of Rock Valley, and formerly of Inwood, Lyon County, Iowa, were held Tuesday morning, May 26, 1981, at St. Mary's Catholic Church there. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Porter Funeral Home of Rock Valley, Sioux county, Iowa.

She died on Friday May 22, at a Sioux City, Iowa, hospital.

Born on March 30, 1904 in Rock Valley, she married Clarence Keegan on February 8, 1928 in Rock Valley. The couple farmed in the Inwood area until 1940 when they moved to Rock Valley. Mrs. Keegan was a 4-H leader in Lyon county for 27 years.

Survivors include the widower; three sons: Robert, Davenport, Iowa; James in Germany; and Michael, Los Angeles, Calif.; four daughters: Mary Ellen Keegan, LeMars, Iowa, Mrs. Robert (Jane) Richter, Rock Valley, Mrs. James (Helen) Huffington, Madison, Missouri, and Mrs. John (Doris) Kersbergen, San Diego, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; one brother; and five sisters.
