Funeral services for Mrs. Winnifred Gort, 77, of Doon, Lyon County, Iowa, were held this morning (Monday) at the Christian Reformed Church there. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery at Doon, under the direction of Porter Funeral Home in Inwood.

She died Friday, April 10, 1981, at a Sioux Falls, S.D. hospital.

Winnifred Buwalda was born on April 10, 1904, in The Netherlands. She married Jasper Gort on July 5, 1922. He died on April 2, 1979.

Survivors include two sons, John, Littleton, Colorado, and Earl, Doon; two daughters, Mrs. Harold B. (Mildred) Vermeer, Sioux Center, and Mrs. John (Joyce) Santema, Rock Valley; one brother, John, Monroe, Michigan; six sisters, Mrs. John Koel and Mrs. William Koel, both of Bellflower, California; Mrs. Jake Gorter, Doon, Mrs. Herbert Waldeck, Hastings, Michigan; Mrs. James Ellison, Big Rapids, Michigan, and Mrs. William Oostrom, Ogilvie, Minnesota....
