Funeral services for Mrs. Minna Dengler, 88, of Orange City were held Friday morning in the Van Etten-Oolman Funeral Home there, with Rev. Lenderink officiating. Burial was in Christ Lutheran cemetery at Alvord.

She died Sunday, March 15, 1981 in an Orange City nursing home.

Minna Bauchspies was born August 6, 1892, in Doon Township, Lyon county, Iowa.

On Dec. 6, 1916 she married Edward Dengler in Rock Rapids and they farmed north of Doon. He died in 1931 and she moved to Alvord at that time. In 1963 Mrs. Dengler moved to Orange City.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Irma) Mouw, Orange City; two sons, Raymond, Santa Rose, Calif., and Ralph, Mobile, Alabama; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Dewey (Alma) Herber, Cherokee, and Mrs. Ellis (Bertha) Winrow, and Mrs. Lee (Lily) Strait, both of Rock Rapids.
