Funeral services were held on November 28 at the Walton Funeral Home in Ashton, Obrien county, Iowa for Theodore Buss Sterler, 73 who died at his home November 26, 1973. Interment was in the cemetery adjacent to Lyon County First Presbyterian church south of George, in Lyon county.

Mr. Sterler was born November 5, 1900 in Lyon county, the son of Buss and Talke (Klinkenborg) Sterler. Unmarried, Mr. Sterler farmed in Lyon county, Iowa.

He is survived by four sisters: Mrs. Sallie Wortman, Sibley in Osceola county; Mrs. Jane Eberline, Sheldon in Obrien county; Mrs. Anna Mae Vaselaar, Brookings, South Dakota; and one brother, John Vaselaar. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers.
