Amanda Woodley, 89, of Le Mars died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, at Plymouth Manor Care Center.
Services were Wednesday at Bethany Lutheran Church, Luverne, Minn., with interment in Maplewood Cemetery.
Amanda Wilke was born Jan. 30, 1913, near Inwood, the daughter of Robert and Lillie Wilke. She attended school in Inwood, then taught school.
On June 22, 1932, she married Fay Woodley. They farmed in Iowa and Minnesota. They moved to Luverne in 1967. She worked in local cafes.
Survivors include one grandson; two great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; one brother, Wayne of Lester; three sisters, Eleanor Nagel and Helen Knobloch, both of Inwood, and Vera Von Der Lieth of Rock Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Ralph, and one sister, Marcella Hoffencamp.
