MOBERLY, MRS. NANCY
Mrs. Nancy Moberly died at the home of her sister, Mrs. B. F. Wickwire of this city, on April 12, 1916, after several months illness due to a general breakdown. She was born in Mincie, Indiana, Feb. 1, 1842, where she lived until 1852, when she removed with her family to Blackhawk county, Iowa.

She was married Sept. 11, 1859, to Chas E. Moberly. Nine children were born to to this union, of whom five are living. John N. and Augustus of this city; J.A. of Sioux; E. L. of Watertown, S.D., and C.E. of St. Peter, Minn. The husband died Feb. 6, 1906. The deceased is also survived by four brothers and four sisters.

She united with the Methodist church when quite young and some years later entered into a much deeper religious experience. She was of a very generous nature, loving to share with others and giving to them the larger portion. Mrs. Moberly was patient, uncomplaining and cheerful during her last illness and expressed her appreciation of being in the home of her sister.

The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. F. B. Gowland and the remains taken for interment to Lester, Iowa, where the husband, a daughter and one son are buried.
