GROTEWOLD, WILLIAM LEROY 1904 - 1976
Larchwood, Iowa - Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the United Church of Christ for William LeRoy Grotewold, 71, who died Monday at a Sioux Falls hospital.

Mr. Grotewold was born November 18, 1904, in Larchwood, and farmed in the area all his life. He married Pearl Marie McMonagle June 1, 1934, in Sioux Falls. He retired in 1970.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Charles Royce, Pueblo, Colorado, and Leonard Wayne, Larchwood; four daughters, Mrs. Joe Redenius Jr., Valley Springs, South Dakota; Mrs. Joe Stevens, Larchwood; Mrs. Robert Kueter, Humboldt, South Dakota, and Colleen, Larchwood; two brothers, Harry and Andy, both of Larchwood; two sisters, Mrs. Vernon Lewis, Rock Rapids, and Mrs. Dale Fett, Ames, Iowa, and 11 grandchildren.

There will be a prayer service Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Jongewaard-Stapp Funeral Chapel in Larchwood.
