MEDALEN, LOTTIE M. (ANDERSON) 1901 - 1988
Coralville, Iowa - Lottie M. Medalen, 87, formerly of Inwood, Iowa, died Sunday in Coralville.
Lottie Anderson was born November 16, 1901, in Chicago. She moved to Inwood when she was a child and attended Lyon County Schools. She married Gilbert Medalen, February 26, 1928, in Inwood. They farmed in Lyon County until moving to Coralville in 1950. She was employed at the University of Iowa Hospital. Her husband died August 27, 1984.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Lou Ann) Meyers, Iowa City, Iowa; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters; Wilma Dunkelberger, Sioux Falls; and Ruth Johnson, Luverne, Minnesota.

Services will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Inwood, with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will begin at noon on Thursday in the church.
Callahan Funeral home, Iowa City, is in charge of arrangements.
