THEIS, JOHN 1878-1947
Valley Springs, South Dakota - Theis, John, 69, Retired farmer. Died Wednesday at home after year's illness. Born July 10, 1878 in Germany. Came to United States in 1908, settled near Larchwood, Iowa. Later at Valley Springs. Survived by widow; four daughters, Mrs. Rose Sullivan and Miss Lily Theis of Sioux Falls; three sons including Paul and Frank Theis of Valley Springs, three grandchildren, and two sisters. Member of Lutheran church. Services Saturday at 2 p.m. at Lutheran church. Valley Springs. Burial at Larchwood. Miller Funeral home, Sioux Falls, in charge of arrangements.
