Roy Roberts, 52, Called By Death - Larchwood, Iowa, Resident Died at Hospital Here After Illness
Roy Roberts, 52, Larchwood, Iowa, died at a hospital here early today after a lingering illness.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Grand View Covenant Mission church at Granite, Ia., with Rev. H.R. Jacobson, pastor officiating. Interment will be made in the family lot at Larchwood, Ia.

Mr. Roberts was born April 20, 1888, at Inwood, Ia. He was an orphan at the age of 7. He attended an orphan school at York, Neb. Later he became an assessor of Sioux Township in Sioux County, Iowa. He was a member of the school board there and was a farmer.

Surviving are the widow; two sons, Wayne and Donald, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Edrie Preussler, Sioux Falls; and Miss Edna Roberts, at home; three brothers, Frank, LaBolt, S.D.; Seymour, Whitewood, S.D., and Jess, Feasterville, Pa.; four sisters, Mrs. George Schneider, Joliet, Wyo.; Mrs. George Perrigo, Tampa, Fla.; Mrs. Maud Regiel, Morenci, Mich., and Mrs. S.H. Henry, Cherokee, Ia. He was preceded in death by one son, one daughter and his parents.

The Miller funeral home is in charge.
