DIETERS, IDA (HAUPT) 1917 - 2001
Ida Dieters, age 84, of Inwood, died Tuesday, November 20 at Fellowship Village at Inwood.

Ida was born April 19, 1917 at Mason City, IA, daughter of Adolph and Emma (Schmidt) Haupt, Ida married Jake Dieters March 5, 1949 at Bridgewater, SD. Together they farmed west of Larchwood, IA until moving to Inwood in 1983.

Ida was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, its women's and quilting circles, and did volunteer sewing and mending at Fellowship Village.

Jake died January 24, 1993. Ida moved to the Fellowship Village June 6, 1997.

Surviving relatives include two sons, Karl and his wife, Viki Dieters of Larchwood, IA, George Dieters of Inwood, IA, three daughters and their husbands, Cathryn and Greg Hanson of Inwood, IA, Jean and Jim Groh of Lafayette, LA, Mary and David Brandt of Houston, TX; eleven grandchildren; two sisters, Martha Thompson of Lincoln, NE and Irene Staufacker of George, IA.

Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Jake; two sisters, Hilda Grensberg and Lydia Toft.

Funeral services were Saturday, November 24th at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with burial at Our Savior's Lutheran Cemetery with Rev. Tim Larson officiating.
