Anna Goldhorn was born September 5, 1905 at rural George, Iowa. She was the daughter of Hiram and Hattie (Heidebrink) Jansen. She attended country school. She also attended college in Sheldon. She taught school for four years.

She married Eilert Goldhorn on June 4, 1927 at Hope reformed Church. She was an active member of Hope Reformed Church, where she taught Sunday School, and was a member of the Ladies Aid. She looked forward to the Sunday dinners she made for her family.

She died Thursday, March 28, 1996 at the George Good Samaritan Center at the age of 90 years, six months and 24 days.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Eilert of George; two daughters, Arlys Krull and husband Kenneth; and Mavis Niebruegge, all of George. Also left to cherish her memories are six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Minnie Goldhorn of George and Grace Snuttjer of Orange City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; two sisters; and one great-grandson.
