The funeral service over the body of the late Martin O. Sorenson was held at Our Savior's church on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 8. It was one of the largest funerals ever held in this community and the large number of friends and acquaintances who gathered from far and near at the sacred edifice, where in his life, he was wont to worship, testified to the love and high esteem in which he was held by all who knew him.

The services were conducted by Pastor L. O. Thorson, of this city, who in a brief obituary brought out the facts that Martin O. Sorenson was born in June 1876, was married in 1912, received the rite of baptism at the hand of Rev. E. Olson, and was later confirmed by Rev. O. A. Berge.

A wife and five children are left to mourn his death. Interment was made in the church cemetery.
